Diamond shapes

Diamond shape refers to the geometric appearance of a diamond. There are multiple shapes of cut diamonds. We distinguish the round brilliant cut from the so-called "fancy" cuts, such as princess, emerald, oval, pear, heart and many others.
The choice of the shape of the cut diamond is generally determined by the shape of the original rough diamond and the position of the inclusions.

The 4 Cs

GIA created the 4Cs (Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight) as a universal grading method for establishing the quality of diamonds. Cut describes how a diamond’s surface interacts with light. The quality of the cut is evaluated by factors such as a diamond’s brightness, fire, scintillation, polish and symmetry. Color actually refers to the absence of color, clarity refers to the visual purity of a diamond and carat refers to a diamond’s weight.

Fire, brilliance & scintillation

Fire, Brilliance and Scintillation contribute significantly to a diamond’s beauty. All the effects of external and internal reflections of white light emitted from the stone collectively form its brilliance. and will be maximized when the diamond is cut to ideal proportions.

Diamond certificates

Diamond grading report is essential for ensuring the quality and authenticity of diamonds. It offers a detailed breakdown and evaluation of its characteristics, including its 4Cs. All of our diamonds come with a certificate of one of the most reputable and widely recognized gemological laboratories of GIA, IGI or HRD.
